    to view positions that target attendees.

    Advance Postings: check the online jobs board beginning February 1.

    Onsite Postings: will be posted online during the meeting and displayed on the AAI Exhibit Hall Booth bulletin board.
     
  • Reach Recruiters Directly
    Job postings will include e-mail addresses for recruiters’ designated contacts.
     
  • Interview Services
    Candidates will have opportunity to meet privately and conveniently with recruiters in interview rooms reserved by AAI in the Baltimore Convention Center. 
CAREER DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS

Career Development Sessions at IMMUNOLOGY 2010TM  will address essential topics at any career stage.  Visit /#Career to learn more about the content, presenters, and dates and times for the following:

  • “Crafting a Successful Grant.” There’s more to a winning application than good writing. Strategy is critical.  Attend this four-hour session to learn how to optimize your content and strategy for a grant with greatest clarity and promise. ($110 registration fee)
     
  • “How to Convert Your CV into a Resumé.” Seeking a job outside of academe? Learn how a resumé differs from a traditional CV and how to transform your own CV into a professional resumé.  Bring your CV!
     
  • “Secrets to a Successful Postdoc.” Hear how to get the most out of your postdoctoral fellowship and make sure that your training prepares you for the next career stage as an independent researcher or another career path of your choosing.
     
  • Careers in Science Lectures and Networking Roundtables.  Attend these sessions to learn about career paths inside and out of the research lab. Meet one-on-one with senior immunologists to hear how they have handled the challenges you face.

EMPLOYER SERVICES
  • AAI will provide complimentary job posting and interview space to any potential employer who is a registered participant or exhibitor of IMMUNOLOGY 2010. This opportunity will allow employers to advertise and recruit onsite during IMMUNOLOGY 2010.
     
  • You may advertise your position on a virtual Jobs Board located on the AAI IMMUNOLOGY 2010™ website. By including a contact email, you can screen interested applicants who send a resumé or CV.
     
  • Private interview space will be provided for use during the meeting in 1 hour blocks.  Interviews will be conducted from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Saturday, May 8 through Monday, May 10; there will be a limit of two hours per employer. Space is limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
     
  • To post job listings in advance of the meeting, employers must submit their listings to the AAI Office by May 4, 2010. Postings are being accepted now. The postings will go online February 1 and will remain up until the end of the meeting.
     
  • After May 4, 2010, if you wish to advertise a job online on the IMMUNOLOGY 2010™ website, you must contact AAI onsite at the Baltimore Convention Center in Room 301. Onsite ads can also be posted on the bulletin board in the AAI Booth in the Exhibit Hall.
     
  • Interview Space. AAI is making interview space available onsite for your opportunity to meet privately and conveniently with candidates.
